The Windscreen Tool Kit is a 2 piece set including a metal windscreen tool and wooden handed gasket tool.
The two tools are perfect for use when installing stationary windows and other glass applications.
The Wooden Gasket tool is great for assisting with assembly of glass panes in glazing sections as it ensure the glass panes fits well and smooth in the glazing gasket (windscreen rubber).
The metal Windscreen tool is designed to help with the insertion of the rubber key for windscreen rubbers.
How to use:
- This tool works by inserting the rubber key into the bottom of the tool and threading it up towards the metal loop at the top.
- The loop then gets inserted into the windscreen rubber key groove.
- Once in place at the correct angle to ensure a snug fit with no gaps, the end of the rubber key is pushed into the expanded gap created by the tool.
- Move the tool down the length of the glazing channel, continuing to thread the rubber key up the tool into the expanded groove.
