This windscreen rubber is used for fitting glass securely into the metal frame of a vehicle, such as for the installation of a rear window on larger vehicles.
The product includes a rubber piece which attaches to the metal and glass, plus a key for secure fitting. To fit the glass, one must know the thickness of both the glass and metal, as well as the total width of the windscreen rubber (known as the 'Gap' measurement). When cutting the glass to fit, remember to double the Gap measurement - once for both glass panel width and height.
