This windscreen rubber is designed for use when fitting a fixed glass window into the metal frame of a vehicle.It has a metal side gap of 1-2mm and a glass side gap of 5-6mm, with an overall gap of 6mm. It also includes a key for securing the device in place.
To use this product, you need to know the thickness of the glass and metal edging of the vehicle, and allow for the size of the window rubber when cutting the glass to fit. To do this, multiply the total width of the windscreen rubber (the 'Gap' measurement) by 2.
