This type of pinchweld has a seal on its top, commonly used to secure the boot of vehicles.
Its gripping range is 1-3mm and does not require adhesive or a fixing agent as it fits snugly over the metal edge. The 'bubble' part produces the seal and is the side which interacts with the surface the boot will close on.
