A hook and bush assembly, designed to suit shock cord, is a versatile and reliable fastening system commonly used in various applications. The "hook" typically features a curved or J-shaped design which securely holds the shock cord, while the "bush" serves as a protective cover for the cord and provides added stability.
This assembly is essential in outdoor and marine environments, where shock cords are frequently employed for securing items like tents, canopies, and boat covers.
The hook and bush ensure a secure and adjustable connection, allowing for easy tensioning and quick release, making them indispensable for versatile and resilient cord management. The overall length of the hook and bush when connected is 70mm in size.
How to use install the hook and bush in 3 easy steps:
- Inset the end of the shock cord into the bush.
- Then insert the shock cord into end of the hook.
- Slide and push the bush onto the hook where it 'snaps' into place, locking the bush and hook over the end of the cord.
Please note this product is a pair, i.e., if you order 10 Hook and Bushes, you will receive 10 bushes and 10 hooks.
