The 749 series is a closed cell Polyethylene Foam with a self adhesive backing. It is a soft and sponge like foam. As it is closed cell foam it is suitable as a dust and water seal. It is also non-toxic when burnt and non-carcinogenic and will not contaminate food or water.
Great for sealing seals for doors and lids, and is widely used in the automotive industry.
