Put the foam where the roof sheet meets the frame
The 749 layer sits on the supporting purlin before the roof sheet is fixed. It provides a closed-cell cushioning and sealing layer at the contact point.
tesa's current brochure describes 749 as irradiation cross-linked closed-cell polyethylene foam.
