What Is EPS Foam?

Rigid Closed-Cell Structure

EPS (expanded polystyrene) is a crisp, rigid closed-cell foam — firm, lightweight and non-flexible. It holds its shape under compression and is one of the most stable foam types for industrial and construction applications.

Lightweight and Easy to Work With

EPS is moulded in large blocks and cut to sheet size by hot wire. The material can be scored and snapped, or cut with a serrated blade — making it easy to resize in-store or on-site.
