This insertion rubber is a natural rubber, 4.5mm thick with two cloth layers (or insertion) sandwiched between the layers of rubber.
Insertion rubber can be reinforced with different fabrics and the thicker the sheet, the more cloth insertions can be inlaid and the better the rubber resists tearing. Thicker sheets can have up to four cloth layers inserted between the rubber layers. Insertion rubber is perfect for mud flaps, matting, gaskets and curtains.
